VISITING THE SCARECROWS
Feckenham Scarecrow Weekend is a FREE event. There's no charge for entry. There's no charge for car parking. We're open from 11.30 to 4.30 each day.
Please use our free car park - postcode B96 6HQ (or just look for the signs).
The Scarecrow start of the Scarecrow trail is just a short walk from the car park. You can pick up a map from our Scarequarters on The Square (village green) and potter about the exhibits to your heart's content.
There'll be teas, a barbecue, ice cream and other delights on The Square as well as some games for the kids. There'll also be Art exhibitions in the Village Hall and the Church.
WHY?
Why not? This is just for fun. Feckenham villagers can have fun making the scarecrows. Visitors can have fun following our Scarecrow Trail - and enjoying the delights of our village on the way. The Rose & Crown and the Village Shop will be open all day.
We may well shake a money box at you as you pick up your map - there's no obligation to contribute but it's be nice if you did. All monies collected and charges made for teas, etc. will be used to run the event - and any excess will be used to maintain our lovely village green,.
TAKE CARE - AND BE NICE
All the scarcrows will be visible from the public roads and lanes in Feckenham. Please be aware that, although this is a small country village, traffic can still travel at speed. You undertake this activity at your own risk - the organisers will not be held liable for any deaths, injury or damage howsoever caused.
People live in Feckenham so - please respect people's property, don't drop litter and keep dogs on leads at all times.
Please park in the official scarecrow car park - villagers need the parking spaces in the village to go about their dailiy lives
